Boko Haram's Local Leader Arrested

An associated nearby pioneer with Boko Haram was captured and a few weapons including rocket launchers seized from his home in the town of Diffa in southern Niger Republic yesterday, security sources said.

The town on the Nigerian outskirt has gone under assault from the aggressors this previous week, since Chad sent many troops in the territory as a major aspect of a territorial push to handle Boko Haram.

The man was recognized as Kaka Bonou, a merchant known to powers for suspected inclusion in trafficking stolen merchandise, the security source said.

"Distinctive sort of weapons of all bore including rocket launchers, were found in his home," one of the Niger military sources told Reuters, asking for to stay unnamed.
