Bad Samaritan .......Man ignores injured woman on the road, later discovers it was his mother

A Chinese man simply identified as Zhang from Wuhu City, Anhui, is devastated and seriously pained at abandoning an injured woman by the road side, only to realise that the woman was his own mother after she died.

According to Asian News, Zhang was on his way to visit his mother when he drove past a badly injured woman by the roadside waving at him to help her but he was in too much of a hurry to stop and offer any help and drove past her.

But he received the shock of his life when woman turned out to be the same mother he was in a hurry to go and visit and by then, it was too late for him to save her life.

Realisation dawned on him when he arrived at his mother’s home and neighbors told Zhang that his mother had left her home to go visit him. He immediately drove back in the direction he came from.

He then spotted the woman still laying on the road covered with blood. It was then that he realized that the injured woman was his mother.

She had been injured in an hit-and-run accident. Zhang called an ambulance, but she died on the way to a hospital.
