An angry Maine, USA, woman who caught her boyfriend sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl did the unthinkable by running him over with her car, reports NY Daily.
The angry 53-year-old woman, Linda Currier, was so mad when she walked in on her convicted sex offender boyfriend, James Oliver, 48, raping the girl at their apartment, that she chased him down the drive way and with her car and knocked him down, causing him severe injuries.
Oliver was injured and hospitalized with a serious leg injury after the ruckus broke out in the rural Lincoln County town of Nobleboro, Maine, authorities said.
Currier herself was busted for DUI and aggravated assault and later released, while Oliver was hospitalized and booked on charges of gross sexual unlawful sexual touching and failing to comply with the sex offender registry by not updating his address.
He’d previously been convicted of rape and sexual abuse of a minor.
The 12-year-old girl was not hospitalized and was taken into custody by her family.
